St. John Children’s Center staff are professional, loving, and committed to excellence.

Each staff member strives to maintain open communication and to work closely with parents to link the home and preschool experiences. Our low teacher to child ratio provides the opportunity for individualized attention and independent learning for the children in our care. All staff members regularly attend professional training workshops and are trained in CPR and First Aid.

Curriculum

The St. John Children’s Center Staff strives for excellence in everything we do, mindful that the time we have with children shapes their future success.

Our bright classrooms, community spaces, and outdoor play areas provide multiple venues for learning while playing. Manipulatives, books, music, movement, science, art and outdoor time are integrated into the daily schedule. Our curriculum provides age appropriate activities and our low teacher/child ratio allows individualized attention for each child’s developmental needs. Enrichment programs include Amazing Athletes and soccer by KidznKicks. Children attend Chapel in the Sanctuary weekly with Pastor John Purrington delivering a Bible story and our Minister of Music conducting children’s songs from the piano.
